There are a wide range of placement available whether you are interested in domestic, agricultural, veterinary, physiotherapy, agriculture, conservation and many more. Work placement is so important to the course as you will gain valuable skills in an area in with you find interesting and may want to pursue a career. This is fantastic for your CV and future job prospects!
Your work placement will take place on one day per week. This will be a day out of college to carry this out. It is up to you to find and contact a placement and they will arrange with you how long your working day will be and what roles and responsibilities you may take on while you are there. You are required to complete up to 150 hours for Level 3 Animal Management per year.
On the map you will be able to see blue markers for the 3 main campuses that the animal course is taught from. You will also be able to identify placements in which previous students have attended.
